Absolutely English Young Learners: for motivated boys and girls aged 11 to 17

Sherborne Girls, one of the country’s top academic boarding schools, has been home to our young learner summer programmes since 2006. The centre is personally managed by owners Siân and Petro Choma and members of our permanent year-round team are present throughout the programme to ensure quality and the smooth running of the centre. We care about our staff, who return to work for us year after year ensuring continuity and quality.

Sherborne Girls is located in the charming town of Sherborne in Dorset. Sherborne is a safe, picturesque location of historical interest in one of England’s most beautiful counties. The school is surrounded by 40 acres of grounds and offers outstanding sports and leisure facilities, including a brand new 25 metre indoor swimming pool and fitness suite, playing fields and a floodlit Astroturf pitch, 2 outdoor volleyball courts, dance studio, sports centre, climbing wall, and 20 tennis courts including grass courts. There are also 3 IT suites and two modern classroom blocks with interactive whiteboards.

We use three of Sherborne Girls’ boarding houses to accommodate our students. The school offers individual cubicles, single and a limited number of twin rooms and rooms sleeping four (new for 2013), with pleasant lounges for relaxation in each boarding house. Boys and girls are in separate accommodation in their age groups. Students also eat all meals in the dining halls of the boarding houses; a varied, international menu is freshly prepared on-site.
